River Ridge Stables

River Ridge Stables is owned and managed by Neil and Tiffany Kinser who reside on the property in their unique German barnhaus with the dogs River and Sedona, the Jack Russell Terriers. They love the outdoors and have many adventurous hobbies, but their pride and joy is their farm and the horses they care for! They are joined by Halley Richards who also resides on the property. Our team is eager to assist clients in any way and are readily available for whatever you or your horse may need.

Neil Kinser

Owner/Land Manager

Neil has adequate expertise that strongly compliments those of his partner, Tiffany. He has developed numerous skills necessary for maintaining a farm and working with animals through his various work experiences with employers such as the Colorado Division of Wildlife and the USDA Forest Service. He has also acquired valuable knowledge and preparation through his college education. Neil graduated from Colorado State University at the top of his class with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Natural Resource Management and a Concentration in Wildlife Management.

 Halley Richards and Rudy

Manager/Head Trainer/Riding Academy Director

Halley Richards began her addiction to horses at age 5, when she started riding hunters.  Her riding career blossomed as she became competitive in western pleasure, hunter/jumper, and dressage in the years that followed. Her western pleasure roots stem from her step father’s (Jeff Barry) and uncle’s (John Barry) tutelage. On the flip side, her mother (Lorie Richards) was a prominent eventer in Illinois.  While attending St Louis University she co-founded and captained the SLU Equestrian Team which rode with John Korenak of Irish Fox Stables and Boo Gonzolez of Dublin Farms.  In addition to heading a lessons/training program at her family’s Illinois operation, Halley has held positions at such farms as Diamond J Stables, Wagon Trail Ranch, Longmeadow Rescue Ranch, Dublin Farms, and St Louis Equestrian Center. Halley brings fresh ideas and a positive attitude combined with classic European style to the River Ridge program.

River and Sedona

The farm was named after River as he is the farm mascot! You can find him rushing around to greet visitors and secure the premises. He is a Jack Russell Terrier to the fullest as he provides nonstop entertainment and vibrates with energy! Sedona is our newest JRT and tries to be just like her big brother. She's very sweet and loves kids!
